News Bites
While our engineering team works toward obtaining UL listings for the Keltron LS 7000 Life Safety Event Management System and Keltron LS Net Ethernet signaling system, we continue to add new customers and upgrade our existing customers:

• The University of Maryland, known throughout the fire protection industry for its outstanding Fire Science and Fire Protection Engineering programs has chosen Keltron to provide their campus-wide life safety event management system. Franklin and Marshall College upgraded their existing systems with the Keltron LS 7000.
• New facility installations at the Maimonides Hospital, NY, US Steel Hamilton and Lake Erie, Canada, and at the DC Museums of the Smithsonian Institution.
• Chicago area municipalities that have recently chosen Keltron Active Network Radio include Bolingbrook and Barrington.

Strategic Partnerships
Valcom, Inc., leading provider of emergency communication systems and Keltron Corporation, leading provider of life safety event management systems, announce a strategic partnership to provide campuses and facilities with total life safety communications. The resulting Total Life Safety Communications System is a comprehensive convergence of technologies that provide extended life safety communications for companies and organizations with multi-building facilities and complexes.
