We are very pleased to announce that the Keltron Ethernet Signaling System has received its UL listing as a Proprietary, Central and Remote supervising station system.

This unique-to-the-market Keltron system enables direct transmission via Ethernet of addressable information from fire and security alarm panels to the Keltron LS 7000 life safety event management system at an on-or-off-site central station or PSAP. Using both input-monitoring circuitry and secure, supervised Ethernet communication the Keltron Ethernet system leverages standard network infrastructure using XML-based message formats.

• Increases security using dedicated network architecture, software security applications
• Delivers high performance with low bandwidth consumption

• Provides event segregation, transmitting different types of events to different operators
• Enables real time activity observation from remote workstations

The UL listing includes the Keltron LS 7000 life safety event management system and Keltron LS Net Ethernet transceivers that feature serial input and contact input four and eight-zone versions, all with either 24 or 60 hour batteries. The Keltron LS 7000 software operates on a high performance, UL 864-recognized computer and offers a wide range of functionality, specifically designed to meet the requirements of NFPA 72.

The following Keltron Ethernet transceivers are now UL listed: Keltron NET922AC, NET924AC and NET928AC. Also listed is the Keltron LS 7000 Life Safety Event Management System including Keltron LS 7000 Version 5.0 software.
